06-11-2018 AMU Wins All India Debate Competition
The University Debating and Literary Club (UDLC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), has won the Janak Kapoor Memorial National Debate Running Trophy
Aligarh, November 5: The University Debating and Literary Club (UDLC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), has won the Janak Kapoor Memorial National Debates Running Trophy held at Satyawati College, University of Delhi (DU).
The English Team comprising Ansab Amir and Rabia Omar bagged the Best Team, and the Running Trophy in a competition in which 30 teams participated.
Out of participating sixty speakers, the English team member Ansab Amir (AMU) was declared the Best Speaker and Rabia Omar the 3rd Best Speaker.
The Hindi team comprising Mansi Singh and Vanshika Keshwani received special mention for their oration.
This is the fourth time that AMU won the JK Memorial trophy.
